I’m Erika, a product designer with a focus on interaction design and research and a background in fintech. Previously @ Capital One, nonprofits Better Housing Coalition and Higher Achievement, Guardian Life Insurance, YC startup Beacons.ai, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Owned the iterative design and research of a patent-pending virtual card provisioning flow that launched in August 2025, simplifying a complex workflow and reducing drop-off by 87%, resulting in $140M annualized spend from 58K customers.

Led design and research for a feature that now drives 30.5% of transactions across 3.6M users, shaping the experience from scoping through usability testing, iterative design, and developer handoff. Launched to associates in Jan 2025.

Conducted user research and translated research into insights to inform user flows and high-fidelity design of cross-platform (web, mobile) centralized MFA enrollment and authentication flows across commercial banking products for 80K+ active credentials.

Led empathy research and mapped current- and future-state service blueprints to redesign Better Housing Coalition’s scholarship application process, reducing friction for applicants and improving operational efficiency.
